Biography[]
Michel Fischer, also known as Jean in the anime Shin Captain Tsubasa, is a French boy from Paris and plays for the Seine team. He is friends with Taro Misaki, whom he and his teammates cheer on during the Youth World Championship.AppearanceShortly before the Youth World Championship, Fischer and his team face the Bordeaux team, which includes Elle Sid Pierre, in the final of the French Youth Championship. After the 3-0 defeat, he provokes Pierre, telling him that his technique is no better than Misaki's and that they wouldn't have lost with him. This gives Pierre the idea to see for himself how his opponent fares. The duel between the two technicians, in which Fischer and the Seine team are also present, ends in a draw with the appearance of Mr. Katagiri.A few days later, he helps Misaki, who wants to attend the French national youth team's training session to test his skills. Fischer shows him a way to get to the Parc des Princes, where the French national team's secret training session against the Paris Saint Germain first team is taking place.During the World Cup, he and his friends cheer for Misaki from the start—except during the Japanese team's semifinal against France, where he supports his own country.
